Individuality and imperfection make us beautiful. My music celebrates the struggle and achievement of everybody, not just those who say the right things or look the right way. Music listeners celebrate individuality, but the music industry does not. That is why I work directly with listeners, fans, and supporters. Not the industry.
I want to gain as much from you as you gain from me. This Rejects movement isn't about building followers, it's about building leaders.
I know exactly what it's like to wake up. I know what it's like to not have a community of people who you can share ideas with. It's taken me a long time to create a musical community that both supports individual thought and celebrates it. But, now that I have it, it's given me the confidence to build something great - not on my own, but with you, with other artists, and with my team who helps us make this all possible.
I didn't start off in the music industry knowing that we had to do something better. I learned a lot of hard lessons. I've been a lot of unimaginable places. And, although I've had the privilege of befriending some amazing artists and some powerful industry players, I'd rather cater to you than to them.
When you become a part of what we're doing here, you join this mission: to ask questions, to say things that other's wont, and to celebrate all individuals.
